XTERRA NEW JERSEY 7th ANNIVERSARY

Ready Set Go Adventures has been proudly producing Off-Road Multisport events since 2017. Our mission is to provide fun race experiences that challenge, inspire and create lasting memories. We are honored to have been selected by XTERRA to reignite Off-Road racing in the Northeast. XTERRA New Jersey is also the kick off race for the 2024 USA Triathlon National Gravel Series.

Registration includes XTERRA New Jersey Tech T & Finisher Pint Glass.  (Must sign up minimum of 1 month before race to guarantee availability).

Olympic Distance Triathlon racers will compete for 28 qualifying spots for the XTERRA World Championship in the Italy in Fall 2024. Click HERE for details.

XTERRA New Jersey Marathon and Half Marathon Trail Run will compete for 56 qualifying XTERRA Trail Run World Championship spots (Sugarloaf, Maine- Fall 2024). Click HERE for details.

XTERRA New Jersey Bike Races include: MTB Marathon which starts on the Blue Bike Loop but then continues on the more technical Red loop and requires a Mountain Bike. Half Marathon (15 Miles) & Quarter Marathon (7.5 Miles) will ride only on the Blue XNJ Bike Loop with choice of Gravel or Mountain Bike. Separate Men's & Women's fields. We expect to expand into 10 year age group categories which will be determined based on sign ups.

XTERRA New Jersey will be held at one of the most majestic parks in the Northeast, Wawayanda State Park. We've heard it time and again how racers are amazed that a park of this grandeur is only 50 miles from New York City. The close proximity to NYC opens up a whole host of options for traveling with family and friends for race weekend. On site camping, as well as many hotel & AirBnB options available nearby.

Off-Road Bike Course

Unpaved sections are a mix of fire roads, packed dirt single track, gravely cinder and grass with some roots & rocks thrown in. Gravel bike or Hard Tail MTB are best choices for this course, although you're welcome to bring a CX bike with wide tires, Dual Squish MTB, Fat Bike or even a Hybrid. No e-bikes. Gravel Bikes recommend 40-45 mm tires.

The Olympic, Relay Team and Aquabike will do 3 loops. Duathlon will do two loops and Sprint one. Course has been reversed from prior years. Laps will be through Start/Finish.

Trail Run

The 10K+ loop features amazing views of Wawayanda Lake. Definitely worth checking out in advance as the more rock work to dance through than the bike course on your way to finishing this epic triathlon. There will be an Aid Station near Transition and another at Mile 3.45 just before the turn into Timber singletrack trail, so make sure to bring a bottle or wear hydration vest.

The SPRINT Trail Run racers will have amazing views of Wawayanda Lake as they run on a combination of fire roads and singletrack.

MARATHON & HALF MARATHON TRAIL RUN

The 13 Mile+ Trail Run loop follows starts off with a route that's essentially the XNJ Bike loop with a few tweaks, following BLUE Arrow signs. Once through the Start/Finish/Lap area, it feeds directly into the 10K+ Trail Run following RED Arrow Signs. So you'll have a mix of all types of terrain. In the first half you will be running on a mix of fire roads, pavement and packed dirt single track. The second half starts on packed dirt single track through rolling hills and then feeds into some rocky goodness before returning to fire road and finishing up with a picturesque lake side run. There will be Aid Stations at 3.3, 7 & 10 mile markers for the Half plus a second time through at mile 13.2 (same one as Mile 7) for Marathon runners just after crossing Start/Finish before entering 2nd lap of Blue + Red loops.

MTB MARATHON & MTB HALF MARATHON

Mountain Bike required for these races. The MTB Marathon course starts off two loops of  the “kinder” XNJ Blue Bike course that features a mix of packed dirt singletrack, gravel roads and a bit of pavement. Then Mountain Bikers out for two Red loops that have plenty of Techy goodness including some of our favorite Wawayanda Trails - Sitting Bear, South End, Timber, Twin Bridges & Red Dot before heading back for the finish sprint on gravel fire road. MTB Half Marathon will do one Blue then one Red loop.

GRAVEL BIKE HALF MARATHON & QUARTER MARATHON

Use your choice of Gravel or Mountain Bike for these races. The Half Marathon will do two Blue loops and the Quarter Marathon will do one. You will not be going on the Red Loop.

We reserve the right to adjust courses based on trail conditions leading up to race day.
